Support Western Alaskan Communities

Over the weekend of October 12, two major storm systems hit coastal communities, particularly those in the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta. More than 1,000 people were displaced, and vital housing, subsistence caches, and other community infrastructure were destroyed. Please support these communities however you can.

The US Arctic Observing Network builds bridges between federal agencies and non-federal and Indigenous partners to understand and improve scientific observations and observing platforms in the Arctic.

Our recent work includes a contribution to the 2025 Arctic Report Card (coming Dec 2025). Explore the underlying data or find information about other reports on our resources page
